This is a complaint requarding the above mentioned Mimi's Cafe location.
The background:
My wife made a reservation for Thankgiving from a card we picked up advertising the Holiday at Mimi's Cafe while dining a week or so before the Thanksgiving Holiday. The reservation was set for 5:30PM.
A few days later we discovered we would have more people joning us so, my wife called back to add those folks. She was told that there was no reservation for 5:30PM and my wife told them she had made it and write it down on the Advertisment card. The person Karen spoke with said the new reservation was now for 6:00PM. Karen insisted the 5:30PM time was what she originally made the res for and fully expected that it would be honored.
On Thanksgiving Day, while we were waiting, a young lady, wearing a mask, asked what we have, or some such question like that, and I said we have a 5:30PM res for 6 and she proceded to pull menus and said follow me.
The mask young lady brought us to a table in the rear of the resturant and arounds some chair. the menus were given to all.
A few minutes later a man, who later I discover was the Manager, came to the table and told me that I walked in and sat myself and my family at the table. I said I was seated by his employee and I would gladly move when he seats my family at another table. He told me I was rude, or somethng to that affect, and told me I wasn't going to be servced, then just walked away.
I was motified, thoughly embarrassed, and felt I was disrespected in front of my family when I had done nothing at all wrong.
No one should be treated in this manor espescially those in the hospitality and resturant business. I went up to the front of the resturant where the manage anda few of the staff were standing around the lecture. I told him someone on his staff seated us at that table. He aked who that person was and I told him it was the masked young lady standing with us.
The masked young lady lied right to my face saying she just went in the back room to see if there was any room. (The Masked young lady will now be referred to as the liar.)
Again, the manage simply walked away. The secound time he just left me hanging. I was loudly making my position known to whomever would listen and another yound woman who was at the lectern calling people's reservations out told me that she had a 6:00PM reservation for Karen (my wife) and was going to give it to someone else.
Meanwhile my family was still seated at the original table but was not being served.
One of the people at the front lectern was a man, who I came to understand was part of managementtried to talk to me and all I wanted was for my family to be served. Few minutes later I left the front and walked to the table where my family was still seated. The mangement man, that was trying to talk to me at the front lectern, was talking to my family and motioned that I should join them. I said all I wanted was for my family to be served and that I would not be joining them and "would not eat here on a bet," and I left.
A short while later I looked in a saw my family was being servced.
Texted my wife and told her to text me when they had finshed so I could take them home.
MY THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY WAS THOROUGHLY DISTROYED.
What I want is the Lair, The reservation woman and the manager Let go!, fired, canned. I would also like to be kept abreast of when this takes place.
I have been in Las Vegas for 20 years. Eighteen of those years I have worked as a tax Preparer. In fact I am an Enrolled Agent.
Tax season is coming up and I speak with upwards of 350 to 400 clients. I can tell them that Mimi's Cafe management did the right thing and removed these people from their jobs, which would be an opportunity for improvement. or, I can speak to these 350 to 400 people about soomething else.
I asked for the corp phone number and was given a district number. That person listened to my complaint but couldn't do what I asked.
Again, The management just couldn't do what I asked and sent me to the wrong person.
Another good reason, as I see it, to let this inept so called manager GO! the district person gave me the Corporate email and number so I will be calling later today to follow.

Waiter seated us right away and served us coffee the came back we ordered our food and then he came back after another 10 min to let us know he was going on a break and had a waitress take care of us. After about 15 min she came and gave us the bill and we thought that was weird since we havent got are food yet So I asked the couple next to us how long it took for them to get there food since now its more then 30 min So the waitress brings our food and apologized that she didnt know we had not got our food and at the same time the Manager (Ricardo) was listening to everything!!
Our food was burnt and over easy eggs were dried up so the waitress asked if wanted it to go and we said no call your mgr So she came back and said he was on the phone and would be right here! Now we have waited more the 29 min for him and the waitress said he was still no on the phone and would comp our food So he never came and we just left!
We have never been treated so bad from a mgr at a restaurant and this is not acceptable!

Went to the local Mimis Cafe in San Bernardino with my husband around 10 am this morning to have strawberry crepes and coffee. They brought the food not properly done, looked disgusting, crepes greasy and color bright yellow, and some estrawberry separate, not on top with sauce.
We wanted to return when staff from kitchen came looking angry and arguing, ending with waitress saying we are not welcome and to get lost!!
As regular customers we were absolutely shocked.
How can any one eat something that does not look ok. This place needs new management that will treat customers with respect, and improve food quality, as well as get rid of bad staff.
